Transport options could be a bit more limited, for people heading along to major events in Auckland this weekend

Transport options could be a bit more limited, for people heading along to major events in Auckland this weekend

Country music star Luke Combs is performing at Eden Park tonight and tomorrow, with gates opening at 4.30 in the afternoon.

Auckland is playing host to SailGP's New Zealand Grand Prix, tomorrow and Sunday - while Auckland FC will play Melbourne City at Mt Smart Stadium tomorrow night.

Auckland Transport is putting on an extra 100 special buses for Luke Combs fans, running between the North Shore, the central city, and Eden Park.

But with the train network still out of action, Auckland Transport is urging people to allow extra time.
