17 January 2025
Conducted last week, the poll shows National down 4.6 percentage points to 29.6, while Labour's risen four points from last month to 30.9.
This puts Labour ahead for the first time since April 2023 -- which came in the aftermath of Chris Hipkins replacing Jacinda Ardern as leader.
Meanwhile, the Greens are up 1.2 points to 9.5 percent, and ACT is down 2.2 to 10.8.
New Zealand First are up 2.7 to 8.1 -- while Te Pati Maori have dropped 0.2 to 5.3.
The numbers would see the centre-right bloc still hold onto Government with 62 seats -- and the centre-left bloc in Opposition with 58.
