A recurring injury has ended Naomi Osaka's tournament at the Australian Tennis Open

A recurring injury has ended Naomi Osaka's tournament at the Australian Tennis Open

An abdominal strain - which saw her retire hurt ASB Classic final in Auckland a fortnight ago - flared up during her third round match against Belinda Bencic.

Osaka says the issue has been something she's managed for years.

Coco Gauff has eased through to the fourth round - she's yet to drop a set in Melbourne.

Novak Djokovic won his third round match over Tomas Machac.
