Police are continuing to look into two unexplained deaths over the weekend

Police are continuing to look into two unexplained deaths over the weekend

Emergency services were called to Moody Ave in Whangarei's Whau Valley around 5pm on Saturday, after a woman was found unresponsive.

A scene examination was carried out yesterday -- and she will also undergo a post-mortem.

Meanwhile, a man was found dead on Lear Street in Stratford about 11.15pm after walking back from an event on Miranda Street around 10pm.

Police are wanting to hear from anyone in either area who may have seen anything, or have information that might help.
