    Golfer Lydia Ko is tied for 27th, eight strokes off the lead after carding a one-over par 73 in the first round of her opening LPGA event of the season


    She's defending the Tournament of Champions in Florida.



    On the European Tour in Bahrain... Kazuma Kobori has shot a four-under par 68 to sit tied for 10th, seven shots off the pace.

    Daniel Hillier's in a share of 35th at two-under.
