Tom Cruise is "so serious" about his famous Christmas cakes, according to Michelle Monaghan

The 'Top Gun' star has a list of friends and co-stars he sends special cakes to every year over the holidays and Michelle became one of them after working with him on three 'Mission: Impossible' films - and she's revealed Tom takes his annual gifts very seriously

When asked if she gets a Tom Cruise cake, she told The Independent newspaper: "Of course I get the Tom Cruise cake. I get it every year and I love it. ... It's annual and it's so serious!"

She added of the delicious gift: "It's coconut and it comes with a little ornament on it, because it's sent during the holidays. And it says, you know, 'warm greetings, Tom Cruise'.

"And it is so moist, so dense, and just the most unbelievably delicious cake you've ever eaten in your life."

Kirsten Dunst has been on the Cruise cake list since starring alongside him as a child actress in 1994 movie 'Interview with the Vampire'.

During an appearance on 'The Graham Norton Show', she explained: "[Tom] gives me a cake every Christmas. We call it the Cruise cake at my house. It's the best coconut cake I've ever had in my life."

However, Kirsten now has two Tom Cruise cakes to get through every year as her husband Jesse Plemons went on to make the list after working with Tom on 2017 movie 'American Made.'.

Other stars who get cakes from the Hollywood superstar include Tom's 'Top Gun: Maverick' co-star Glen Powell.

He opened up about the baked goods during an appearance on Jennifer Hudson's talk show, admitting he throws an annual "'Cruise Cake Party" to share it with his friends and family.

Glen said: "It is the most delicious cake you've ever had. My friends who have tried it, they love it so much that they hit me up right around December 1.

"'Hey, has it arrived yet?' So now I have a party at my house where I'll have the Cruise cake. It's my 'Cruise Cake Party.' And I'll invite people over to try a bite or two ... [they] can't get greedy. I really have to limit people. I can't let them come back for seconds."
