Fire crews will be heading back out to the scene of a large fire on Port Waikato's Maunsell Road

Fire crews will be heading back out to the scene of a large fire on Port Waikato's Maunsell Road

Crews were called to the four-hectare blaze around 1:30pm yesterday, which started in toetoe scrub.

Residents were able to return to their homes overnight, after 14 were evacuated as a precaution.

Fire and Emergency says crews will be back out checking hotspots this morning.
