Auckland Council's sending almost 23-thousand infringement notices to owners who've failed to register their dogs this financial year

Each fine is 300 dollars - adding up to more than 150-thousand dollars.
Council Licensing and Compliance General Manager, Robert Irvine, says Animal Management will use the money to fund their services - such as dealing with stray or aggressive dogs.
