A huge match for Auckland FC in their A-League football campaign this afternoon, when they host Adelaide United at 5pm at Mt Smart Stadium

Victory for the Black Knights would see them open up a 10-point gap atop the standings with eight games left in the regular season.

Auckland FC coach Steve Corica doesn't want his players getting caught up in the moment and is urging them to focus on what has brought them success this season.

Adelaide were second until away wins last night for Melbourne City, 1-nil over the Wellington Phoenix, and Western United, 3-1 over the champions, the Central Coast Mariners.
