The Black Sticks women are one win away from earning promotion to hockey's top-tier Pro League

The Black Sticks women are one win away from earning promotion to hockey's top-tier Pro League

New Zealand have beaten hosts Chile in their Nations Cup semifinal in Santiago - winning 3-1 in a penalty shootout, after the scores were locked at 1-all at fulltime.

The Black Sticks take on Ireland in tomorrow morning's final, having already played them in the group stage - with the Irish winning 1-nil.

Player of the match Olivia Shannon says the team will do their homework on a familiar foe, on TVNZ.
