He was tazered, pepper-sprayed and targeted by a police dog yesterday afternoon, after he wielded a samurai sword and bit a police officer.
He was one of two men who allegedly fled police in Papakura about 2:15pm.
Franklin Ward Councillor Andy Baker says it's most likely a one off incident.
