    The man accused of killing a Ngaruawahia woman in December following a brawl has dropped his bid for name suppression


    Turipapa Tukere died before she could be airlifted to hospital.

    34-year-old Chalise Tei Barton-Barbarich was arrested last month.

    Herald Open Justice reports he's pleaded not guilty in the High Court at Hamilton for charges of murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to an alleged second victim.

    He's been remanded in custody - and will reappear in May.
