White Ferns captain Sophie Devine's spoken for the first time about why she took a break from cricket - for a second time

White Ferns captain Sophie Devine's spoken for the first time about why she took a break from cricket - for a second time

The 33-year-old all-rounder's back with the New Zealand side for their home T20 series against Australia - which starts at Eden Park on Friday afternoon.

Devine stepped back from the game for well-being reasons in January - and says she simply got to a point where she needed time away.

Amelia Kerr and Lea Tahuhu also return to the White Ferns fold having missed the just completed matches against Sri Lanka.
