    A 19-year-old man is due in court today following a firearms incident at Palmerston North's West End


    Police responded to reports on Saturday, that the man presented a firearm at members of the public and Police on the intersection of Ferguson and Thompson Street.

    No shots were fired.

    The man was arrested at the scene with no injuries reported, and will appear in Palmerston North District Court on multiple charges.

    Meanwhile, Police are also appealing for any cellphone footage of the man before and during the incident for their investigation.
