Canterbury forward Tohi Smith-Milner has been fined 600 dollars for foot tripping during their NBL basketball win over Southland in Christchurch

Canterbury forward Tohi Smith-Milner has been fined 600 dollars for foot tripping during their NBL basketball win over Southland in Christchurch

The incident occurred in the second quarter when Smith-Milner hit the floor while contesting a rebound with Hayden Collier.

The Ram stuck his hoof out in response - which saw Collier fall over.

An early guilty plea has resulted in the fine being halved.

Smith-Milner will be free to play Canterbury's next game against his former team Wellington on Saturday.
