On Monday, Auckland City's Gang Disruption Unit carried out five searches in Mount Eden, Lynfield, Te Atatu South and Onehunga on Monday.
They seized four 3D printers, ammunition, dozens of gun parts and two assembled weapons.
Four men aged 35-to-54, and a 29-year-old woman have appeared in Auckland District Court on multiple charges.
Detective Senior Sergeant Armstrong says printed firearms are still relatively uncommon - but Police are keeping ahead of it.
