    It's been a challenging second season for Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano, whose contract was this week confirmed for another 12 months ... despite going from semifinalists to being unable to make the finals.

    Nix captain Alex Rufer is focusing on avoiding the bottom-four Australia Cup playoffs.
