Police say gang members usually follow their expectations for large gatherings - despite yesterday's rowdy memorial gang ride

Police say gang members usually follow their expectations for large gatherings - despite yesterday's rowdy memorial gang ride

Police followed a convoy from Manukau to West Auckland, then back to Flat Bush, making two arrests for driving offences and seizing two motorbikes.

A group of about 100 gathered at a Botany Junction bar - where police made three further arrests and seized three more bikes.

Counties Manukau Police Inspector Adam Pyne told TV1 he doesn't think tensions have heightened between police and gangs.

He says members are well aware what will happen if they break the rules.
