The Panthers have been fined almost 55 thousand dollars and trainer Corey Bocking has copped a five-match ban after a controversial blunder late in their win over Gold Coast in league's NRL

The Panthers have been fined almost 55 thousand dollars and trainer Corey Bocking has copped a five-match ban after a controversial blunder late in their win over Gold Coast in league's NRL

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Titans halfback Jayden Campbell was incensed when Bocking ran in front of him as he was lining up a sideline conversion that would have given the home side a four-point lead in the final minutes.

After Campbell missed the shot, Nathan Cleary kicked a two-point field goal that sent the game to extra time, where Penrith scored a match-winning try.

The hefty punishment factored in the four-time reigning premiers' previous trainer misconduct.
