    Snowfall warnings are in place in the South Island, starting tomorrow


    Metservice forecasts snow to hit the Southern Lakes' Crown Range Road, and Milford Road in the morning, then Lindis Pass from noon.

    Porters Pass, SH73, between Canterbury and the West Coast is also expected to have snow from 9 tomorrow night.

    Up to 4 centimetres of snow could build about the summits, with lesser amounts lower down.
