Selena Gomez has given fans a glimpse of her bachelorette party

Ahead of her September wedding to music producer Benny Blanco, 37, the singer and actress, 33, shared a series of photos and clips on Instagram of her and her friends partying in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

It comes as Benny reportedly threw own celebrations in Las Vegas with friends.

In one of Selena's photos, she appeared on the beach in a white bikini and bridal veil.

Another showed her posing in front of a mirror wearing all white, while one image showed with balloons spelling out "Mrs Levin", suggesting she plans to take Benny's surname.

A video from the trip featured the star in a black thong swimsuit, while another image showed her in a halter-neck dress embroidered with the words "bride to be".

The trip included mariachi music to greet Selena at her hotel, a candle-lit walk on the beach, and time spent with close friends on a yacht.

Guests included Ashley Cook, Raquelle Stevens, Courtney Lopez and her cousin Priscilla Marie.

The celebration came two days after Taylor Swift, 35, announced her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, also 35.

Taylor, a friend of Selena for nearly 20 years, did not attend the Cabo party but is expected at her September wedding ceremony.

Selena's fiancé marked the occasion in Las Vegas with around 25 friends, with sources saying Benny was seen at a spa and at the Wynn resort.

Details of the couple's wedding were reported by the Daily Mail, with sources saying it will be a private ceremony with family and close friends.

Selena has previously revealed she plans to serve her grandmother's biscuits and gravy as dessert.

She said on Rare Beauty's TikTok: "My preferred dessert would be biscuits and gravy.

"My Nana's biscuits and gravy. That sounds like dessert to me."

She also said: "Whenever that (wedding) day comes, I do know I don't want a big cake."

Benny and Selena confirmed their relationship in December 2023, before announcing their engagement a year later.

Selena wrote alongside a photograph of her diamond ring, estimated to be worth $1 million: "Forever starts now."

Speaking on Australia's Today in June, Benny discussed their joint album I Said I Love You First, released in March.

He said: "We just started making music in our house as a little fun activity and then all of a sudden we had one song, then two songs, then three songs, then four songs.

"She was just a joy to work with... (and) at the end of the day I get to kiss her too."

Selena has also told the Table Manners podcast she will not be having a traditional first dance with Benny.

She said: "I don't think we're looking at having one of those 'cause they're a little... I feel embarrassed."

Instead, she plans a special dance with her grandfather.

Selena added: "He never got a chance to walk my mom down the aisle. I wanted to give (my grandfather) the opportunity to have that."
