Health Minister Simeon Brown says it's not just big hospital projects, but small ones too that will have an impact

He's announced a $100-million investment for hospitals across the country in 21 local projects and a remediation programme.

There'll be more clinical space in emergency departments, new transit lounges and extra carparks.

Mr Brown says this work will make a meaningful difference for clinicians on the front line.

He hopes it sends a clear message the government's focused on investing in the health system to deliver more for patients and ensure clinicians have modern, reliable infrastructure to work with.
