A homicide investigation continues after a murder charge was withdrawn in High Court in Wellington

A homicide investigation continues after a murder charge was withdrawn in High Court in Wellington

Former gang boss Albert Enoka was shot dead in Naenae last December- a 29-year-old man was later arrested and charged with his death.

Wipuhara Kapene has spent nine months in custody and yesterday appeared via visual link as the court threw out the charge.

Police have accepted there's insufficient evidence to proceed with the charge, and Kapene has been released.
