Colin Jost has only ever asked one Saturday Night Live guest for their autograph

The 43-year-old old star has worked on the long-running TV comedy show since 2005, and he's now revealed that Eli Manning, the legendary NFL quarterback, is the only guest that he's ever asked for a signature.

Colin - who is married to Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson - told People: "I've been writing on Saturday Night Live for 20 years, and the only host I've ever asked for their autograph was Eli.

"[He's] the only one I've asked because I'm such a Giants fan."

Colin actually asked Eli to sign a promotional photo that showed the sports star lying on a bed of footballs.

The comedian said: "He just signed it 'To Colin, Eli.' It looks almost romantic. It's such a funny photo."

Colin recently played alongside his sporting hero at the Ryder Cup Celebrity Pro-Am golf event in New York. And the TV star confessed to relishing spending time with Eli, 44.

He quipped: "When [Manning] tossed me a golf ball and I caught it, I was like, 'I'm like a wide receiver!' He really played great, so we lucked out."

Meanwhile, Scarlett previously admitted that she couldn't imagine "being with somebody who wasn't funny".

The 40-year-old actress admits that humour is a huge part of her life, and she thinks that it can actually help her to overcome all sorts of challenges.

Scarlett - who married Colin in 2020 - told Collider: "My husband's a comedy writer, and I couldn't imagine ever being with somebody who wasn't funny.

"I grew up in a very funny household. My dad is Danish and has a very dry sense of humour, and my mom is Jewish, so that's culturally a big part of our identity. It's certainly a certain kind of humour, and growing up in New York, that's another layer of it, of course. So, I see the ironic humour, also, in terrible things."
