    Inmates injured three staff at Auckland's Mount Eden Prison - in a confrontation this morning


    Corrections says the prison was locked down after nine prisoners refused to exit a dayroom

    Facility General Manager Dion Paki says restraint and negotiations teams were called in to assist.

    The group was removed and secured soon after midday, without impacting the wider prison.
