Jennifer Aniston's 57th birthday was "even more meaningful" because she spent it with boyfriend Jim Curtis

The Friends actress chose a low-key celebration with her 50-year-old hypnotherapist partner and pals say Jennifer is "in a great place right now", thanks to Jim.

A source told PEOPLE: "Jen celebrated with a birthday dinner with Jim. It was low-key and just a nice evening. She always celebrates her birthday. For her, it's about being grateful for another year. She's had an amazing year. She feels very happy. She's in a great place right now. Spending her birthday with Jim made it even more meaningful."

Jennifer was first linked to Jim in July 2025, when the pair were seen getting close on a yacht during a vacation in Mallorca, Spain.

And, Jim has since opened up about their relationship, revealing that they were introduced by mutual friends.

Speaking on the Today show, he said: "We were just introduced by friends. That's it. We found out that we had mutual friends and we started to just chat.

"It took a long time, we chatted for a long time and we became close."

Asked how long they had been together, he said: "A long time, months now, almost close to a year."

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that Jennifer could be set to work with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, 62, over 20 years after their dramatic split.

The former Hollywood power couple - who divorced in 2005 - are said to be so close that they are considering working together if the right project comes along.

Speaking to the Daily Mail newspaper, an insider said: "They would even work together. Probably not in a relationship onscreen, but they would share screen time if the parts were right."

Pitt and Aniston were once renowned as Hollywood's golden couple after marrying in 2000.

However, their relationship came to a dramatic end five years later, shortly after Pitt met Angelina Jolie, 50, on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004 - sparking reports of an affair.

Brad and Jennifer released a statement at the time insisting their separation was amicable, and Jolie denied any wrongdoing, but she and Pitt fuelled further attention by appearing together in a glossy photo spread titled Domestic Bliss.

Pitt and Jolie marred in 2014 but split just two years later in 2024. They finally came to a divorce agreement in 2024 after years of conflict over assets and the custody of their six children.

Jennifer was also married to Justin Theroux, 54, from 2015 to 2018.
