Donald Baikie was discovered at a Chapel Street property in September last year.
Sixteen-year-old Jammal Henry was charged with his murder days later.
He's pleaded not guilty, and appeared in the High Court in Christchurch today, where Justice Jonathon Eaton confirmed his name suppression has lapsed.
