    Gas explosion destroys Christchurch house as debris rains down on neighbourhood

    Neighbours in a Christchurch suburb are shocked to hear a massive explosion and see rubble and pink batts rain down from the sky as a gas explosion completely destroys a house, injuring at least five people.
