Taupo, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay
A fine morning then a few showers from afternoon with thunderstorms possible inland.
Whanganui to Wellington, also Wairarapa
Mainly fine, with isolated showers this morning, then rain spreading north this evening.
Nelson, and Buller to Westland
