    Mainly fine, but isolated showers from this evening, clearing and becoming fine
    about Tongariro and Egmont National Parks tomorrow morning.

    Southwesterlies, becoming light at times.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    Above 3000 metres.


    south island



    Kaikoura Ranges and Nelson Lakes National Park
    Fine, then a few showers developing tomorrow afternoon.

    The Southern Alps north of Fiordland
    Cloudy periods with isolated showers in the afternoons.

    Fiordland
    Showers, clearing to fine tomorrow afternoon.

    WINDS
    Strong southwesterlies, easing tomorrow afternoon.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    3500 metres, sloping to 2600 metres in the south.
