    Areas of cloud, with drizzle, clearing to fine breaks tomorrow afternoon. Cloud

    Kaikoura ranges
    Fine, apart from areas of low cloud and drizzle in the east, clearing tomorrow

    Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks
    Fine today. Cloud developing tomorrow with a few evening showers.

    Fiordland National Park and the Southern Alps
    Cloudy periods, a few showers in Fiordland, spreading north tomorrow then
    turning to rain with heavy falls for a time from afternoon.

    Light winds, but westerlies about Fiordland, spreading everywhere tomorrow
    rising to gale or severe gale south of Arthur's Pass.

    About 3200 metres, lowering to 2400 metres in Fiordland tomorrow.
