Raukumara to Kaweka ranges
Isolated showers, becoming widespread tomorrow afternoon.
Tongariro and Egmont National Parks
A few showers, turning to rain for a time tomorrow morning and afternoon, snow falling above 1900 metres.
Ruahine and Tararua Forest Parks
Cloudy periods. Rain developing tomorrow morning, easing to a few showers late.
Northwesterlies strengthening this afternoon, and rising to gale about the Tararuas and Ruahine ranges tonight. Changing strong southwesterlies tomorrow morning.
3300 metres, lowering to 2200 metres but 1800 metres in the south late tomorrow.
Fine today. A period of rain tomorrow.
Kahurangi National Park to the Southern Alps
Few showers developing this afternoon, rain for a time overnight, with snow lowering to 1400 metres about the Alps, easing tomorrow morning.
Mt Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks
Showers. Snow lowering to 1500 metres but 900 metres in Fiordland overnight. Showers becoming confined to southern Fiordland late tomorrow
Gale northwesterlies spreading north tonight. Changing strong to gale southwesterlies tomorrow morning.
3300 metres, sloping to 1600 metres in Fiordland. Lowering to 1000 metres but 1700 metres in the north tomorrow morning. Rising to 1400 metres in Fiordland late tomorrow.
