Northland to Manawatu, including Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Fine today, apart from isolated showers in Northland. Showers becoming widespread and heavier tomorrow, with possible thunderstorms from afternoon.
Gisborne, Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa
Scattered rain, clearing this afternoon. Isolated showers developing tomorrow afternoon, some possibly heavy in Wairarapa.
Horowhenua, Kapiti, Wellington and Marlborough
Fine today. Showers developing late tomorrow afternoon, some heavy.
Nelson, Buller and Westland
Fine today. Showers developing tomorrow morning, some possibly heavy.
Canterbury
Cloudy today, with occasional rain, mainly in the south. Becoming fine tomorrow morning, then isolated showers from afternoon.
Otago, Southland and Fiordland
Rain, heavy at times, with significant falls about eastern Otago, easing this evening. Isolated showers about Southland and Fiordland from tomorrow afternoon.
