The Prime Minister's responding to nationwide protests over the Government's pay equity changes

The Prime Minister's responding to nationwide protests over the Government's pay equity changes

    9 May 2025
Protestors have turned up outside Ministerial offices around the country, in opposition to the Government's legislation, halting pay equity claims and putting a higher threshold to raise them.

Chris Luxon says Caucus had a good conversation around the plan, and its important they did this quickly to bring clarity to employers.

Luxon's added that making the budget add-up is not the "primary reason" they're doing this.
