Market Report - as at 13:00 today
The NZ Sharemarket is falling slightly as it stands at 13:00 today with the NZX50 down -0.57% percent (-68 points) from its opening to its current level of 11,807. The most actively traded stock on the NZSE, with over 1.5 million shares changing hands is Vulcan Steel Ltd, down 3% from its opening to $8.55. The next biggest trader is Meridian Energy Ltd ($5.69) with over 1.1 million shares being traded so far. The star of the day is currently BLIS Technology, (up 12%) while the biggest loser so far is Vulcan Steel Ltd (down -3%). |
