    The Finance Minister's dispelling concern the official cash rate will be hiked this year

    Economics Firm Infometrics has suggested a hike to the OCR could come as soon as May.

    The prediction followed a lift in inflation to 3.1-percent, which put the Reserve Bank outside it's target mandate set by the Government.

    Nicola Willis says she doesn't think a rise is on the cards any time soon.

    She says the Reserve Bank's last update didn't predict a hike till 2027.
