    Auckland Hospital's radiology department's getting a makeover

    Auckland Hospital's radiology department's getting a makeover

    12 June 2025
The Health Minister's announced 41-million dollars for the first stage of the project - expected to take two years in total.

It'll fund new theatre rooms, state-of-the-art body-scanning machines, a new extended-stay ward - and redesigning spaces to fit modern tech.

Simeon Brown says the project will reduce wait times for interventional radiology procedures, which are critical in diagnosing and treating life-threatening conditions.
