Christchurch is home to a new clinical trials facility

Christchurch is home to a new clinical trials facility

    13 June 2025
The four-million dollar purpose-built site on Antigua Street means the full range of trials are under the one roof.

CEO Dr Barney Montgomery says it means the people of Christchurch can access promising new treatments through trials, without needing to travel or wait for overseas development.

The team's expecting to welcome more than 300 participants in the first year of trials in areas such as coeliac disease, obesity, and migraine.
