    The All Blacks sevens have lost 12-10 to South Africa in their opening match at the Vancouver world series event

    New Zealand held their opponents scoreless in the second half after trailing 12-5, but couldn't do enough to get ahead, with Andrew Knewstubb grabbing a consolation try.

    Their next match is against Australia at 2:51pm after the women open their account against Ireland shortly.
