A strong summer has taken Auckland property sales to a four-year high

A strong summer has taken Auckland property sales to a four-year high

    5 May 2025
Barfoot and Thompson's revealed sales to April were 20-percent up on the first four months of last year - and 65-percent higher than the year before.

Managing Director Peter Thompson says sales slowed in early April when tariff trade war talks peaked but rebounded towards month's end.

He says it indicates Auckland's market is building traction.
