Apple is expecting to fork out an extra billion dollars, from Donald Trump's tariffs

Apple is expecting to fork out an extra billion dollars, from Donald Trump's tariffs

    2 August 2025
The tech-company reported a 160-billion dollar revenue for the quarter ending in June, despite concerns of new US tariffs.

Chief Executive Tim Cook, says the import fees cost them more than 800-million last quarter, and 1.1-billion dollars in the current quarter.

Tech Expert Paul Stenhouse, says it won't be any cheaper if manufacturing doesn't shift.

He says they'll face a 25 percent tariff, if they won't produce products in the United States.
