Labour says new changes to tenancy laws are "destructive" for the housing market

Parliament has passed the changes under urgency overnight.
They include the re-introduction of 90-day no-cause terminations for periodic tenancies, and once again allowing landlords to give notice to end a fixed term tenancy, without a specific reason.
Labour's Housing Spokesperson, Kieran McAnulty, says the bill does nothing to help people into homes.
He says it only makes things easier for landlords and harder for tenants.
