Kelly Clarkson "cannot believe" her TV talk-show is celebrating its 1,000th episode

'The Kelly Clarkson Show' premiered in September 2019, and the 42-year-old pop star feels proud of what she's managed to achieve over the years

    24 March 2025
The 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' hitmaker said during the latest episode of the show: "Welcome to 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' and our 1,000th episode.

"Our show premiered on September 9, 2019, with the help of some great friends. Over the next five-and-a-half years, we have made 999 episodes. I cannot believe today marks the 1,000th. It's crazy."

Kelly also reflected on the journey she's been on since launching the TV talk show.

The chart-topping singer - who was married to Brandon Blackstock between 2013 and 2022 - shared: "For 1,000 episodes, we have laughed together, we have cried together with beautiful stories, sang together with some people, danced together, celebrated and competed together.

"I've lost, alone, a lot, and along the way, we found comfort in one another. And looking back, we are all incredibly proud of what we've built and the community we've created."

Kelly announced plans to launch her own TV talk show back in 2018.

At the time, the pop star explained that the platform would allow her to pursue some of her personal interests.

Kelly said in a statement: "I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities/organisations.

"Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!"

NBC's Valari Staab also heaped praise on Kelly.

Valari said: "She's genuine, warm, fun and interacts with her fans in a meaningful way."
