    Police are trying to hunt down a suspect, after a person's been critically injured in an alleged assault on a bus in Onehunga.about 2.30

    Hato Hone St John sent an ambulance, and three rapid response units - and the person's now in Auckland City Hospital.

    Police Inspector Danny Meade says they're trying to locate someone who fled the scene and is nearby.

    He says the event is extremely unusual, and don't believe there is an ongoing risk.
