A man's been charged over a family-harm incident in Christchurch's Bryndwr last month, where a woman was fatally shot by Police

Armed officers were called to deal with a man threatening himself and his partner with a hunting knife.
An officer shot and injured the man - then fatally shot the woman, when she used the knife to threaten officers.
Canterbury District Commander Superintendent Tony Hill says a 47-year-old man's been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
He says he'll appear in Christchurch District Court in November.
Hill says an investigation in relation to the shooting in ongoing.
