Relief for tenants as rental costs hold steady

Relief for tenants as rental costs hold steady

    26 May 2024
Trade Me's latest Rental Price Index shows the national median rent in April remains unchanged compared to March - remaining at 650 dollars.

It's the sixth time in the past year rents have stayed flat month to month.

Property Sales Director Gavin Lloyd says the trend continues as supply still outweighs demand.

He says the latest numbers reflect there being more choice for renters.
