The Finance Minister is playing down any major surprises in this week's Budget

The Finance Minister is playing down any major surprises in this week's Budget

    26 May 2024
Nicola Willis says bringing down high inflation and interest rates are top priorities.

The Government has also long signalled it will deliver tax relief for the majority of households.

Ms Willis says there could be the odd thing in there that might not be what people were expecting.

But she says it will be consistent with who they've said they'll be as a Government.

Ms Willis says there will be nothing that people will think is out of line from the coalition; they've tried to stick to their core commitments.
