    Almost 10-thousand Air New Zealand customers have had their travel plans ruined by upcoming strike action this week

    44 wide-body flights have been cancelled across Thursday and Friday - while cabin crew from two unions strike over pay and conditions.

    Air New Zealand says it'll re-accommodate travellers where possible.

    Chief Customer and Digital Officer Jeremy O'Brien says there'll be no impact to domestic and regional services just long-haul international flights - into Asia and North America.

    He says they've limited the impact for Pacific and trans-tasman flights - putting on smaller aircraft.
