    If you're filling up for a long road trip this weekend, you might get a pleasant surprise

    Fuel prices have been steadily falling for several weeks thanks to a strengthening dollar, and lower international oil prices.

    Ian Baggott at the Motor Trade Association says it proves fuel companies aren't fleecing their customers.

    He says most of the independent fuel retailers are now working on a margin as slim as 5 to 6 cents a litre of fuel.
