Retailers will be hoping to turn a corner in time for Christmas trading

Retailers will be hoping to turn a corner in time for Christmas trading

    4 September 2024
Worldline NZ data shows merchants have had a tough few months - with consumer spending through Core Retail dropping half a percent in August, year on year.

Chief Sales Officer, Bruce Proffit, says they hope the worst is now behind, for retailers and customers.

Retail NZ's latest Business Sentiment Survey shows profitability, interest rates and inflation remain top concerns for companies.
