A view it's too early for the Reserve Bank to respond to the White House's swathe of tariffs

    9 April 2025
Economists expect a 25 basis point cut to the OCR this morning, down from 3.75 percent.

Jarden Economist and Investment Strategist, John Carran says President Trump's tariffs could be inflationary in the US.

He says as New Zealand is responding with tariffs, it's not yet known how we will be impacted -- and we have to wait for the evidence.
