A liquidator's report specifies Hamleigh Holdings Limited has struggled with a year of weak sales, rising operating costs, and higher supplier and landlord expenses.
It operates Stirling Sports at The Palms and Northlands Shopping Centres.
The director has unsuccessfully attempted to sell the business over the past 12 months.
Of the 760-thousand dollars debt, 650-thousand is owed to unsecured creditors, another 15-thousand in staff wages and 35-thousand to Inland Revenue.
